General notice
The information presented on PublicShikayat — including marketing pages, documentation, the public audit ledger, and any printed export from the platform — is provided for general informational and operational purposes only. While we work hard to keep it accurate and current, we make no warranty, express or implied, about its completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability.
The office acts; we provide the tool
PublicShikayat is published by Scorpyns Technologies Private Limited. Each tenant office that uses the platform — an MP's office, an MLA's office, a municipality, or a similar public-facing organisation — is independently responsible for the actions it takes on the grievances filed with it, the responses its officers send, and the timelines on which those responses occur.
We do not adjudicate grievances. We do not decide whether a complaint is valid or how it should be resolved. The platform helps the office track, route, and respond — the substantive decision rests with the office and the relevant government department.
Public audit data
The public audit ledger reflects the data submitted to the office through the Service and the actions logged by the office's staff. We do not independently verify the underlying facts of any individual grievance.
Personal information shown on the audit page is redacted in line with our Privacy Policy: only partial names, the last four characters of voter IDs, and the last four digits of phone numbers are displayed. The audit page does not show the description of any complaint or any media attached to it.
The presence of a grievance on the audit page is not, in itself, a finding of wrongdoing by any person, government department, or third party named in or inferable from it.
Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party providers — including Meta (for the WhatsApp Business API), Google (for Gmail SMTP), and the upstream telecom and internet providers your office uses. Those services have their own terms, privacy policies, and uptime characteristics, which are outside our control.
Where the Service or our public pages link to third-party websites, those links are provided for convenience. We do not endorse, monitor, or assume responsibility for the content, products, or services offered by those third parties.
Not legal, financial, or medical advice
Information on PublicShikayat — including any guidance, FAQ, or template — is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Nothing on the Service constitutes legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. For any matter that requires expert advice, please consult a suitably qualified person.
Availability and accuracy
We endeavour to keep the Service running and the information on it accurate. We do not, however, warrant that pages will be free from typographical errors, temporary inaccuracies, or interruptions. If you spot an error, please write to [email protected] and we will look into it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, neither Scorpyns Technologies nor its directors, employees, or affiliates accept liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise — arising out of, or in connection with, your use of the Service or your reliance on information presented on or through it. The full limitation is set out in the Terms of Service.
